PHI PHI ISLAND TOUR, COST AND WHICH IS THE BEST TOUR COMPANY

Phi Phi Island Tour is a great way for you to spend an entertaining vacation on this beautiful island. It is located off the coast of Krabi, in the Andaman Sea. The island has all the basic facilities that you need while spending time on the island.

This is the best tour I’ve done on Phi Phi Island in Thailand. I done the early morning tour and it was lovely. Our tour guide Pim was so friendly and took every effort to ensure everybody had a good time. We have plenty of time at each stop to take photos. The food served during the trip is very delicious.

Here’s the thing!

The Phi Phi Island Tour is a tour of the island, providing tourists with entertainment and education about the history and people, as well as the primary industries of the island. The tour is set up by the government of Phi Phi, and all profits go back into supporting other local businesses on the island. Before your boat sets off, you are given a comprehensive briefing on safety, where to look for sea cucumbers (and how to avoid getting them in your hair), what times to put your sunscreen on, and where you can engage in public nudity (for tourists only).

WHICH PHI PHI ISLAND BOAT TOUR COMPANY IS THE BEST?

There are several different Phi Phi Island Boat Tours to choose from, so how do you decide which one to go on? And who are you going to make your reservation with? To starting with, none of the less costly public Phi Phi tours appeal to me. When there are far too many people on board, it’s difficult to appreciate these ships. You’ll spend so little time in the pool, and it’s almost inevitable that you’ll have a miserable time on Koh Phi Phi.

Five Star Thailand Tours is a brilliant example of a high-quality tour operator, and I can speak from personal experience. Their Semi-Private Phi Phi Island Tour, which they run, has a passenger limit of 8 passengers to avoid overcrowding. Chartering your own private long-tail, on the other hand, would lend your day ever more exclusivity and flexibility.

On the island, they are a hands-on local tour operator. Some tour companies only operate online, while others are resellers; however, some companies have travel shops in Thailand where you can speak with a real person while making online reservations. When it comes to reservations, they continue to have outstanding and timely support. You’ll surely enjoy yourself when playing them! If you’ve travelled thousands of miles around the globe to get the islands, you’ll probably only do it once. But spending a little extra for a larger group and a memorable experience, or even enjoying a cruise all to yourself, is well worth it.

WHERE CAN I BOOK A TOUR OF PHI PHI ISLAND?

When looking for the best boat tours in Koh Phi Phi, you’ll be bombarded with so many options, and so many tour operators all selling very similar tour packages. Beginning to work through all of the possible options can be a difficult process.

When it comes to booking Phi Phi Island tours, Five Star Thailand Tours will assist. Their limited group sizes and dedication to providing high-quality Phi Phi travel packages set them apart from the competition.

Koh Phi Phi’s natural charm, as well as its proximity to Krabi and Phuket, make the islands highly attractive and a natural tourism magnet. Unfortunately, several boat tour companies have used the success of the island. Boat tours leaving the coastline of 20 – 35 (disappointed-looking) visitors on a single longtail boat are a popular sight. The best piece of advice I can offer while booking a Phi Phi Island Boat Tour is to book with a reliable operator like Five Star Travel. When looking for a Phi Phi Tour Company, search for someone who runs their own tours and restricts the number of passengers.

Hundreds of travel shops dot the island of Koh Phi Phi, where you can book a boat trip. Hundreds of touts, re-sellers, and stands all advertise the same boat tours. In order to close a deal, it’s not unusual for salespeople to tell you a few white lies. If something seems to be too amazing to be real, it most likely is! Return to the previous tab.

HOW MUCH DOES A TOUR OF PHI PHI ISLAND COST?

A Phi Phi Island tour is an experience of a lifetime, but the price depends on many things. When planning your trip, remember that it’s best to go as a group. The more people you travel with, the less you’ll have to pay per person. Visitors who go as part of a group don’t usually pay much more than 2000 Baht per day, or US$55 per person, which includes food and accommodation. People traveling alone may pay up to 5 times this amount for luxuries such as air-conditioned rooms or private transportation.

Since there are so many tour options in Koh Phi Phi, I’ll stick to the most common options. If you stay in Phuket, the price will be higher, while those who stay on Koh Phi Phi will pay less for the trip.

For tours departing from Phuket, expect to pay about 4,000 Baht for a good quality tour. Alternatively, in Koh Phi Phi, the price should be about 1,500 Baht.

You will also find tour packages for as little as 500 Baht departing from Koh Phi Phi! However, keep in mind that you get what you pay for.

WHICH TIME OF YEAR IS BEST FOR A PHI PHI TOUR?

The perfect time to be out on the water is during a Phi Phi Island Tour at sunrise. Setting an alarm for 5 a.m. can be difficult, particularly during the holidays. But, on a well-deserved holiday, why would you want to get up too early? It’s all about avoiding the crowds; Koh Phi Phi is a popular tourist destination, and the later you arrive, the busier the islands get.

It’s also serene, calm, and desolate. The most glorious time of day is still sunrise, when the red light on the horizon makes the islands feel so peaceful. And for a fleeting moment, it seems as if you’ve stepped back in time to the 1980s, when Koh Phi Phi was still a well-kept secret. Most people can only dream of seeing an experience like this on Koh Phi Phi.

Around six a.m., there are so few other people around, and far fewer cruise tours. There are usually just a few private charters sailing through this early on. The temperature is fine, and the sand is still smooth from the night before. The sky is clear, blue, and humid. And, with the sun just rising, the light makes the beach look much more tranquil than normal.

On the horizon of Koh Phi Phi, a beautiful sunrise emerges.
On the Phi Phi Sunrise Tour, the sun is just beginning to shine from Loh Samah Bay. In comparison to later in the morning, Koh Phi Phi feels like a very different location. It’s almost more like something from… a Leonardo DiCaprio film. Any other Phi Phi travel kit can’t equate to a Sunrise tour. It’s absolutely magical at dawn, so take advantage of the opportunity to get a piece of this paradise island all to yourself.

A PHI PHI ISLAND TOUR BOAT VISITS WHAT LOCATIONS?

A boat tour to Phi Phi Islands will take you on a spectacular voyage of exploring many different tropical islands among the Ko Phi Phi Marine National Park. The park was originally established in 1982 and covers 30% of the total area in Thailand’s Andaman Sea. Some of its marine life species include the whale sharks, manta rays, giant clams, and dugong. Aside from these species, there are also more than 100 species of coral reefs found in this area.

MONKEY BEACH

An awesome place to visit from Phi Phi!

The Monkey Beach (aka Monkey Bay, Monkey Beach or Monkey Island) is a famous cay not far from Phi Phi. Its main attraction are its monkeys that roam freely on the beach and in the surrounding trees. The place is so popular with local and international tourists that it has even been dubbed The KaZantip of Thailand. In the late 1980s, teenage Russians started to visit this remote area which caught the attention of those further inland.

MAYA BAY

The island of Phi Phi is a very popular spot for tourists and attracted almost 1 million visitors over the past 12 months. Many people choose to stay at the Maya Bay Bungalows located on the west coast of the island. Mayalaysa bay Beach (picture above) was featured in the film ‘The Beach’ starring Leonardo Dicaprio, this film brought the beauty of phi phi to the public eye, making it one of Thailand’s top tourist destinations. The beach has been named as one of the most amazing beaches on earth.

PILEH LAGOON

Pileh Lagoon or Phi Phi is small island on the west side of Phi Phi Don. It surrounded by white sandy beach and beautiful lagoon. Pileh lagoon is a peaceful and calm place in Phi Phi Don and you will find here resorts to be quiet, relaxing, pretty secluded and inexpensive.

VIKING BAY

If you want a party all day long Viking Bay Phi Phi is the place to be. It is the biggest and most popular spot on the full moon party island and it doesn’t disappoint at night. Outdooors in a resort style bungalow you can enjoy live music, swim in their pool, play volleyball, foosball and drink or dance the night away. The site has two parts a commercial area and a backpacker beach bar and restaurant area. You can spend hours just sitting around the fire pit drinking buckets, hit their happy hour which runs from 6-10pm and then head into the main part of Viking Bay opposite where you entered above with hammocks, tables poolside to sit at so your bags are safe!
