Kata / Karon Viewpoint

Also known as Three Beaches Viewpoint — a clifftop layby on the road south of Karon with one of the most photographed views in Phuket.

Officially Kata-Karon Viewpoint, locally just "Three Beaches." The view takes in Kata Noi, Kata and Karon beaches in a single sweep with the green hill of Pu Headland behind.

Despite being right beside the road, it's worth more than a five-minute stop — there's a short flight of steps down to a lower platform that gets you cleanly above the trees.
